Rockstar Games Launcher Activation Instructions - How To Play Your Newly Purchased Game

If you purchased your game directly from the Rockstar Store then you're already good to go - it will be activated immediately and the download should begin. You don't need to enter any CD keys (activation codes) as Rockstar automatically assigns one for you.

If you purchased outside of the Rockstar Store, you'll typically be given a CD key (activation code) from the retailer. Once you have this key, download the Rockstar Games Launcher (if not already installed), open the program, copy your key and click your avatar - this will then present an option named 'Redeem Code'. Click that option, and you'll then be asked to input the code into the box and click 'Check'. Please then follow the instructions provided by Rockstar Games and the product will be activated on your account - you'll then be able to download and play.
